This is a quality pair of new handmade Texas Style Bell step in chaps. They were made by a grumpy old cowboy from Happy, Texas . He has been building cowboy gear since the 1970's. He does a really nice job. They are marked with his maker’s mark on the belt. He builds real cowboy using gear and has built chaps and chinks for many cowboys throughout the US and Canada including working cowboys on the JA Ranch, LS Ranch and Bell Ranch. These chaps have a lot of buckstitching. They are buckstitched with Indian tan colored lace leather that was hand cut and beveled so it lays flat and tight. This is a nice color combination. The leather on these chaps is about 5 to 5 ½ o unce light brown colored chap leather rough side out. They are trimmed in a golden yellow orange chap leather smooth side out. They have a heavy skirting leather belt with a nickel plated cart buckle. T are twenty two stainless conchos and two outside pockets. The yokes and stiffeners on these chaps are triple thick. These would be a great pair of using chaps built to last a long time.
