Vintage Heisey Marked Large Crystal Donkey Description: A vintage, large and really wonderful crystal colored donkey figurine from A.H. Heisey, c.1944-1955. Gorgeous, smooth and crystal clear Heisey glass - beautifully shaped. Heavy-weight. Diamond H on left rear leg. See photos... Dimensions: 6 1/2" tall; 5 1/2" @ widest Markings: in raised lettering on the outside of left rear leg, a diamond with an "H" in it Condition: Excellent. No chips, breaks, scratching, discoloration or cloudiness. T's a small bubble in the interior by his right front leg, which isn't very noticeable and is original to the piece. Additional Info: An interesting little tidbit from the Bredehoft book, "Heisey Glass 1896-1957". On page 310, they state that these donkeys and their elephant counterparts were designed by Royal Hickman and originally produced by Heisey in preparation for the 1944 Presidential elections. International Shipping (including Canada): USPS First Class Mail International: For items 4 lbs and under.Transit time varies, depending on the country it's being sent to, but usually a minimum of 10 business days. This doesn't give an option for insurance or tracking, so if you want to insure and/or track your item, it must be sent via USPS Priority Mail International (which is usually more expensive - see below).
