This auction is for a PAIR OF HEISEY NO. 135 EMPRESS 6" CANDLESTICKS IN MOONGLEAM . These are not reproductions and were made between 1929-1937. If you look at the pictures carefully, you will notice that the diameter of the bases are slightly different. One is 5" and the other is 4 3/4". Also, one has a slightly darker color than the other but you really need to be looking closely to notice that. I had thought about selling them as individual pieces but I think they are more interesting as a pair. On a table setting with candles in them, the differences virtually disappear. Other than their differences as noted, they are mint. The main design motif consists of an acanthus-style leaf surrounded by a scroll which appears vetically three times around the column portion. The moongleam color is a nice find and they look great on the dining room table! Email with any questions. The reserve price has been set at a level consistent with the differences in the individual pieces.
