HO Brass Union Pacific 10-Car 1955 "City of Portland" Domeliner Train #106. Produced in Korea By SAM-Tech for The Coach Yard in 2005. TCY #1380 NO RESERVE AUCTION. Union Pacific's updated 1955 "City of Portland", running between Chicago and Portland, via the scenic Columbia River Gorge, included a consist of ACF's new Dome cars. This extraordinary 10-car train is modeled right down to the place settings visible through the dome windows! The consist provided in two large boxes includes the following cars: Baggage Car #5707 Baggage-Dorm #6004 Dome Chair #7008 Chair #5461 Cafe-Lounge #5001 Dome Diner #8008 10-6 Sleeper 'Pacific Castle' 5-BR Club Car 'La Grange' 14-Sect Sleeper 'Alpine Pass' Dome Observation #9007 Each model is finished with superb accuracy and the highest level of detail available. Interiors are provided in the chair and dining cars. (NO interior lighting is included). Each car has a fully-detailed underbody. The observation car is equipped with a lighted 'neon' tail sign. The models have been removed from the boxes for inspection, and subsequently stored since purchased new. The boxes and all packing are, likewise, in new condition.
