During its production run, the F40 was Ferrari's fastest, most powerful and most expensive vehicle and it remains one of the highest performing street-legal vehicles ever produced. Its body was an entirely new design by Pininfarina, featuring panels made of Kevlar, carbon fiber and aluminum for strength and low weight. The name celebrates the company's 40 th anniversary.
