HUGE WATERFORD SIGNED CRYSTAL HURRICANE LAMP - LISMORE TIMES SQUARE COLLECTIONMy wife's mother has recently passed away, and I am selling some of her treasured possessions she has accumulated over the years. As we have many listings for these on eBay, please go to my seller page to view themThis beautiful Waterford lead crystal hurricane candleholder is part of the Times Square collection. It features a square silver metal base (which has some light tarnish, suggesting it may be silverplate) and a heavily cut crystal hurricane top. The very symbolic pattern is called "Hope for Abundance," the same pattern on the Times Square crystal ball dropped at New Years 2001. The globe is signed D. Kelly and the date 2001 appears imprinted near the engraved signature. There is also a Waterford logo. (I attempted photos, but the thickness of the very heavy glass distorted the details too badly for them to be recognizable in a photo.This is a very heavy crystal piece, weighing almost 5 1/2 pounds, with the silver base made to hold a standard-sized taper. It is 11" tall. The base is 3 3/4" square. The diameter of the hurricane is about 5" at the widest point and the crystal globe stands 6 3/4" tall. It is in excellent condition.
