This compote is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. This is the 400/88 5 3/4" cheese compote in the Candlewick pattern made by the Imperial Glass Co. While the pattern itself was made from 1936 until 1984, this compote (comport) was only made from 1937 to 1967. There is an early and late version of this compote and this one is the later version. The earlier version was shorter, smaller in diameter, had less beads, only had a bulge for the stem and not a bead and was called a comport with the designation number of 400/63D. This compote is 2 1/4" high, 5 15/16" in diameter at the top and 3" in diameter at the base. Shipping costs are not included in the item price and are weight based to the destination zipcode.
