I am offering an elegant hand-painted Limoges porcelain vase made by Jean Pouyat. The amphora-shaped vase features a spray of roses painted on the front of the vase with a gilt neck opening and gilt handles. The vase measures 8 inches high at the handles and 7-3/8 inches high at the neck. It is 4-3/4 inches wide across the handles. The body of the vase is 4-1/2 inches wide. The foot is 2-5/8 inches wide. The neck opening measures 1-3/8 inches across. The vase is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage to the painting. The gilding shows some wear (please see photos). The base bears the impressed shape number âeoe566âe and the green âeoeJ.P.L. âe" FRANCEâe mark that was used by Jean Pouyat from 1891 to 1932 (please see photos). I think that the vase is from the 1910s or 1920s but do not know. I can email larger more detailed photos of the vase to you should you require them. The vase will be double-boxed for shipping. Shipping costs will vary depending on your mailing address.
