ELEGANT, BEAUTIFUL AND GORGEOUS BLUE SIGNED ART GLASS PLATTER We are offering for auction this outstanding and rare Josh Simpson signed blue New Mexico platter in perfect condition with no damage of any kind. Stunning art glass by renowned glass artist Josh Simpson has beautiful blue desert sky design over amethyst glass encased with a thick layer of clear glass with a black edge lip wrap. This great platter has beautiful coloration and is large. It measures a little over 15" across in diameter . This large platter shows 2 different dark blue New Mexico skies on front and back. The platter is signed "Simpson 10-35-04" on bottom. Simpson is well known for his "New Mexico" series and planet like paperweights. His pieces are extremely collectible and can be found in museums and private collections around the world. We offer this fabulous art glass at a starting bid well below the value. This would be a very wonderful addition to any art or glass collection. The darker blue photo is the actual color of the NM series plates. One of the close up photos shows the design in the plate, but it is an inaccurate color.
