Up for bid is a drop dead gorgeous piece of flow blue. It is a covered serving dish that has paneled sides. (T are 18 panels if that makes a difference) Measures 6 3/4" from base to the top of the cover and is 10 1/2" across from handle to handle. The only mark on it I can find is "Ironstone" incised in a half moon shape and the number "9" under that. I have not been able to locate the pattern anyw The blue is as deep of cobalt as you will find. Now the bad part. The piece has damage to it. Looks like someone put something too hot into the base and cracked it. The crack goes across the bottom 1/3 of the base and around the interior. You can see it on the exterior if you look closely. T are a few tiny spots w the glaze is popped off, and one area that is gone about 1/8" at the most I put a quarter in the picture to give an idea on the size. T is also slight discoloration on the interior. Also the edge of one handle has a ding on it that was repaired. T is a small spot on the lid that the glaze is off. This sounds much worse than it actually is but I try to give accurate details on the condition! The color is a much deeper bue than the photos show. Must be insured when shipped!! Feel free to ask questions or need to see more photos. Thanks for looking and good luck.
