READY FOR THIS>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LEVI ORIGINAL FRENCH AD POSTER from 1970s thru 1980s. This poster has LEVI, JAMES DEAN and MARILYN MONROE all on the same ad. I'm not sure who the other bikers are maybe French actors? This again is RARE. Not as old but just as RARE. In the 1970s thru early 1990s Levi 501 was hot in most European Countries. They liked our Levis and they liked our movie stars. The poster is in just real good shape with just minor wrinkles towards the edges. The poster material is a strong type poster paper board not the normal paper for posters. The poster is large almost like a movie ad type poster. It measures 46" x 61". The poster reads" Levis . un chef d'oeuvre Americain" Not sure what this means but I assume it good. The artist of this poster is P.Peyrolle and is noted on the poster. In fine print on the side the writing reads"Mendes-France Magnum.Chevallier. Stag editeur-Paris-R.C.Scien 68b2561. Yes, this is an official Levi poster and RARE at that. How much more fun can it get than our favorite Movie stars and all dressed up in our Levi vintage blue jeans on motorcycles in the wonderful state of Arizona or Utah. This is Americana in France.
