This car has the slogan "Always Cool" on the door on each side along with the polar bear holding a bottle of Coke. This car is mint in the box and has never been out of its box, seen tracks, or daylight. The box is also in excellent condition and has its original sleeve. This LGB 42912 or “POLAR BEAR” boxcar as it is commonly referred to, is one of the most sought after and desirable LGB Coke cars of all that have been produced over the years. This 1994-1995 long discontinued hard-to-find LGB 42912 Polar Bear boxcar has sliding side doors and brass railings. It is listed in the "1998 Official Guide To LGB" on page 136. Lehmann encountered licensing restrictions on these Coke cars in Europe and many of these cars could only be sold by in the United States as a result.
