Up for sale is a Green, Lionel 6-26215-MTW, Road number 9700-GLO, Operating 0 to 25 Volts, AC Analog Voltmeter Box Car, revision 3.1. This MTW, GLOW-IN-TH -DARK II AEC Operating Voltmeter Operating Voltmeter Box car is brought to you by MODELMAIN TRAIN WORKS, Prototype Specialists. This Rev. 3.1 edition is almost an exact duplicate of the K-line model. We have skillfully duplicated the, now rare and popular K-LINE K7041-2111 Union Pacific Box Car. The similar Box car is K-LINE K7041-8111. The Lionel/ K-Line versions have not been in production since 2005, when they went out of business. We have taken over where K-Line left off. K-Line never even thought of making one like this. More road names and variants are now being produced. Buy NOW. It's train season.The is a new , Lionel 6-26215, GLOW-IN-TH -DARK II AEC, Box Car, that has been skillfully re- engineered to be an Operating AC Voltmeter Box Car. This car has an easy to read LED back lit analog AC Voltmeter, with bright Orange pointer. The car's brand new high quality AC voltmeter is White LED back lit. No incandescent bulbs and heat to worry about. Both the Red and White LEDs have a lifespan of more than 10,000 hours, and should last the life of the car. The Box Car has a Red LED with Diffused Lens on the roof, telling you there is voltage to the track. This Operating Voltmeter Box Car is part of Lionel's remake series. Features: a brand new series, not used and not old stock, high quality true RMS rectified AC voltmeter, Die-cast Trucks, Magnetic couplers, Metal knuckles, Metal wheels & Axles, Metal brake wheel, Plastic detailed frame with added 2 OZ. weight stability, Lionel vertical roller pick up, and a LED power indicating Red dome light on he roof. Lionel cautions against no more than 17 Volts AC on their TMCC, Legacy, and LCS Locomotives.The old, no longer made, Lionel/ K-Line versions use incandescent bulbs that can and do burn out prematurely.All of our Lionel and K-line Operating Boxcars and Sheds are invaluable for monitoring the AC Voltage you are supplying to the track. You don't ever want to supply more than 17 Volts AC to your track, because you can burn out LEDs and damage expensive Legacy and TMCC Locomotives, as mentioned in Lionel operating manuals. My Operating Voltage Boxcars and Sheds are CHEAP insurance, it's up to you, pay a little or pay a lot.This meter can accurately read the voltage of a pure sine wave transformer or other sinusoidal transformer. It measures track voltage at each point on your layout in AC volts. Per K-Line instructions: "This is the best way to measure the voltage available to the train, because it uses rollers and wheels to tap the voltage at each point weather the train is moving or stopped".This Operating Voltmeter Box Car is a " wild " sight to see as it accurately gives the actual AC voltage, as it rolls around the track.
