This Lionel's #681 Locomotive 6-8-6 with the #2671 W whistle tender which works.The engine is not running.Was running about a year ago when i stored it away in a non-humid enviorment inside my home but for some reason i get nothing out of it now, not even a light ,so it will need to be fixed.Bodies on both have no broken parts.Made from 1950-53.In 1950 Lionel equipped all of it's top of the line locomotives with magnatraction,and this S2 turbine was no exception.It received a new number,681 and sintered-iron wheels without rims(necessary to to transmit the magnetic flux to the rails).Cosmetically it has a black painted die-cast body,wire handrails,smoke,headlight,and the 6200 decal on the boiler front keystone.Takes the smoke pellets for the simulated smoke.Thanks for looking.
