LIONEL 8050 ROCK ISLAND DIE CAST O SCALE COAL TENDER Estate sale purchase. Untested. Great condition on the exterior. From what I can find on the internet, this was probably part of the Mighty Sound of Steam series. When new it would make a chugging sound. I can not confirm whether it could also whistle or not. One article mentioned that the foam tape inside degrades with aging and I can hear a piece rattle that is loose. Best offers promptly considered.
