American Flyer 4-9701 The Rock Box Car w/Box Lionel began to produce American Flyer trains in 1979 with the introduction of 3 freight cars. They followed up in 1980 with 4 additional freight cars. Among them is this 4-9701 The Rock box car. It is in C-9 (Factory New) condition in the original box. I am calling it C-9 to be on the safe side .Being sold as is. If you have any questions regarding any specifics, please do ask. It is the eBay way. Per TCA grading standards: C-10 Mint - Brand New all original, unused, and unblemished. C-9 Factory New - Brand New all original, unused, may evidence factory rubs and the slightest evidence of handling, shipping and having been test run at the factory .
