As promised, here are two original Lionel of New York USA made 1122 left and right hand automatic remote 027 switches complete with the original plastic direction lanterns and both bulbs and the controller. These are good usable examples of these switches. The nickel and blueing on the frog shows wear but has lots of color. The controller is nice as well and the wires are in excellent shape. It's been a while, but I did use these and remember these work better, that is snap more crisply, with direct wiring rather than track wiring though I think that is true of all older switches. Using track wiring with the train at slow speed, they were pretty sluggish but I never cleaned or lubricated the solenoids either since I wasn't familiar with how to go about it. These are uncleaned and unaltered except for the tops of the rails. I looked for a long time on ebay before selecting these. I originally planned to go with 027 track because it seemed more to scale but found it ''walked'' in the temporary seasonal floor layouts (aka Christmas tree layouts...I know, It's hard not to laugh) which are all I have been able to get done, so I� finally� switched to the heavier O (and yes, I use manual switches in O, they're great). Now after many years of holding on to the 027 layout pieces I've gathered, it's time to accept the fact that I'm just not read more
