Description Here is a 100 type Lionel E reversing unit. I listed as 100-4 as that is what it looks like to me, but PLEASE compare it to yours or be sure to look at pictures, ask questions, note slight bent at end of reversing arm. Here is list of engines a 100-4 can be used on from Service manual, 400, 404, 2038, 2328, 2329, 2337, 2338, 2339, 2348, 2349, 2359. LIONEL SERVICE MANUAL ALSO SAYS "Most E units vary only in length and location of unit lever, and length and color of wires. With the exception of horizontally mounted E units, the component replacement parts of all E units are identical" This looks like never used as the wires have no solder, but I am not original owner so I cannot guarantee. It is marked Lionel. I tested only the coil and pawl does move with power on coil, I have no way to test contacts.
