This piece of Merigold, Mississippi’s famed McCarty pottery shows the brilliance of Lee and Pup McCarty’s artistic endeavor. Finished in the new-style McCarty jade glaze, this bamboo vase is one of the iconic shapes from McCarty Pottery. It is signed on the bottom with McCarty signature and was created during the period when Lee McCarty was still working, circa 2012 or 2013. It was purchased new from a well-known McCarty retailer in Jackson, Mississippi around that time. This piece measures approximately 6 3/4 inches in height. It is in excellent condition, carefully stored and displayed since being purchased years ago.
