This is an old piece of McCarty pottery with the Merigold Mississippi mark on the back in red clay, probably made in the early 60s. It has a gold glaze around the rim with a green and gold crackle glaze in the center. It is purely a display piece due to its age and small size. It measures 3 1/4 inches across and has ridges on the underside with a small lip on the top. It has five small chips overall on the rim, see pictures. The interior rim shows some glaze wear that is not noticeable unless you examine it closely. I only mention these imperfections so I am totally upfront about the flaws. The crackle glaze on the interior is in great shape with no missing pieces and is absolutely gorgeous. T are very few of these vintage pieces of McCarty remaining on the market so take this opportunity to own one for yourself! Shipping on this piece is $7.60 which is priority mail with insurance included. Check out my other auctions for Peter's pottery and check in the future for more older pieces of McCarty as I am downsizing my collection. Thanks for looking! I will combine shipping on multiple items won at $2.00 each additional item. Thanks!
