His bio is below.Japan, early 1900's. Meiji Taisho Tsutsugaki Boy's Day May 5 Celebration Samurai Kabuto Yoroi Banner Flag Warriors. The lower half of a full sized boy's day banner for use in front of a manor with 9 attached tabs for the pole and showing two resplendent samurai generals in full armour and mounted with an attendant carrying the standard (uma-jirushi) in the upper field. Large seal - FUKU (fortune) near the bottom. Done in tsutsugaki technique - resist paste dyed cotton. A few tears and a burn hole - This item sold AS IS, please see all photos to ascertain the condition. General wear and weathering from outside exposure, areas of mild staining and discolouration.
