Double your traffic. U p for your consideration is this FABULOUS Mid Century folk art mushroom! It is made from paper mache, and features a stunning array of animals and flora, which include elephants, rabbits, gazelles, and coyotes! They are in a landscape of trees, and various fantastical plants, with mountains in the background, and a sun and clouds in the sky! It is hand signed under the cap: SERMEL, TONALA, JAL, MEX. It is signed SERMEL for SERGIO BUSTAMANTE AND MELQUIADES PRECIADO, two top Mexican artist who formed a team in Tonala, Mexico in the 1950s. It measures approximately 6 3/4" tall, by 8" wide and deep. It is in EXCELLENT vintage condition! There is one small ding at the top as seen in the 6th picture which is not deep, and does not distract.
