Anton MichelsenSterling SilverSince 1910, various well-known artists have offered their talents to decorate annual Danish Christmas spoons and matching forks. The cutlery was originally introduced by A. Michelsen. In 2003 Georg Jensen took over the name and production of the Annual Christmas Cutlery. The shape and form of the Jensen spoon and fork continue the A. Michelsen tradition. In 2006 the annual fork was discontinued by Georg Jensen.This spoon depicts "The Christmas Tree/" Bright golden orange ornaments of enamel decorate the tree. The design was created by Theresia Hvorslev, to celebrate the year 1965. It is marked "Julen 1965" along with the designer's initials "TH" on the back and on the stem are "Sterling Denmark" and "A. Michelsen Copenhagen."
