Offered is a MINT 1931 Rookwood Art Pottery Vase. Standing at 4" with a rim opening of 2.125" in diameter and the widest point of diameter being 4.375". This piece presents with NO damge or NO crazing. Done in four colors - Vellum Pastels- this piece has concise/ clear florals. Nice Salmon pinks, greens , yellow and peach. Decorated with a chain of wild roses with foliage. Two open flowers with one closed bud. Other side has three open roses with three buds. The vein lines are clear in the leaves as well as the thorns on the stems. One can almost feel the prick of the thorn. Pristine highlighting within the petals and center of the flower. See pic. Appears to be handthrown with no defects. One can feel the textured lines in the potting process - great feel! Marked on the bottom XXXI - 6199 F. See Pic. This piece makes a wonderful cabinet item. Displays so well with the robust colors it presents with and the knowledge that it is PERFECT!
