Description This is an authentic original iron hand-forged SAMURAI sword guard called tsuba. � It was made more than 140 years ago in Edo Period and used as a fitting of wakizashi. � The design of the four corners is called inome which means a boar's eye. � It looks like a heart but was a boar's eye to the old Japanese. Signature & Seal None Age Edo Period (1603-1868) Condition Good with showing age-appropriate wear and stains. Good patina. � Refer to all pictures.
