NEW- Elkskin Leather-Handcrafted- "FOOTPRINTS " Fringed, Signed Bag- Large Size- This bag was originally designed and created as custom work, however an apparent problem arose and I have not been able to contact the customer. I am now putting it up for sale . All work on this bag has been done entirely Freehand as are all my bags. I use no templets, tracing, copying, or transfers of any kind. The Footprints of several different animals with Native American signs and symbols is Permenantly freehand burned into the elkskin leather, then enhanced with black paint. The elkskin leather is of a pure white , grain to the outside , with the softer suede to the inside. The bag it'self , and all lacings, ties and fringe are cut by hand with scissors, the fringe added individually one at a time. The lacing around the outside edge are doubly secured with leather glue for added strength. The leather it'self is quite heavy yet soft and supple . Measurements are 14" long x 12" wide- 22'" to 23" to bottom of fringe. A hand braided strap also of elkskin measures appx 44"long. A natural buffalo tooth with button hole is used to close and secure . I have signed and dated the bag as I do with all my items. Other sizes and types of bags can be seen in my store.
