You are bidding on a contemporary Native American Mini Spear. The total length is 26 1/2" and it is 33" from the top of the hanger to the bottom of the longest feather. The, hand knapped spear point(new) is 2 3/4" long and tied on with sinew. The shaft of the spear is wrapped with Gold colored, glove soft, Deer skin leather. The shaft has real Buffalo fur on it and in between the fur are, hand strung, Sunset colored beads. The hanger is even decorated with Glass and metal Crow beads and Tin tinkle cones, with real Crystals in them(see pic). T is real Horse hair, Brown, on the end of the spear. The leather lacing is of the same Deer skin leather and is all hand cut and decorated with all Glass Crow beads and Metal bead spacers. The feathers are all real Turkey feathers and t are 5 of them and the longest is 9 1/2". The lacing is also decorated with Tin Tinkle cones, Brass cartridge casing with a real Buffalo tooth in it. The necklace shaped Beadwork is made with all Glass Crow beads with metal spacers also and t is Horse hair (Black) hanging from it that looks like small scalplocks. This is a very nice item that would enhance any collection or would look great in your office or Home. It would also make a great Christmas gift for that someone special.
