This sterling silver link concho belt was either pawned by a Native American in Gallup and was not redeemed or sold directly by the owner. It features eight 1 5/8" by 1 1/4" oval conchos, nine 3/4" by 1 1/4" rectangular conchos, and a larger 1 5/8" by 1 1/4" rectangular concho that serves as the buckle. The conchos are light weight, not very thick. T are no markings on the silver, but it tests as sterling. Each of the conchos is complemented by one bezel-set turquoise stone and hand-stampwork. T are silver round wire links between the conchos. The belt measures 36 1/2" long. It is tarnished. The high bidder may want to polish it, depending on personal taste. This lovely belt will make a nice fashion accessory and will continue to be a great collectible for the person who appreciates the Native American artistry and culture.
