ITOIRE is living national treasure technique now. this is stencil for KIMONO patern. print with a resist paste made from glutinous rice After dying remove resist paste. Original Full Length(No Cut) Exquisite Technique of Katagami Craftmanship. DATE: Kogata: Late Edo to early Meji era. KOGATA(katagami Stencil) was used until Edo era.
