This lovely tea set was made in Japan as indicated on the back.My in-laws lived in Japan 1953-1955 and brought this back with them.T are 6 plates with a place for each cup to sit on the plate.T is a teapot with removable lid and a creamer.Unfortunately the sugar bowl has been misplaced.The set is white in color with a beautiful gold trim on each piece.The set is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.T is a smear of the color on the handle of one cup,hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of this set.
