This is a Olsen (OK Knives) hand made knife that has been in storage since original new purchase and came from my fathers estate. The brass is slightly tarnished, and the inner side of the sheath snap has seperated from the top, and there is a scratch on the leather front of the sheath. The box bottom is rough from sitting in a tool box where it was discovered. The photos don't do it justice. The Leather still has luster and rich color, Shiny Rosewood Handle, the blade is still sharp and doubt it has ever seen use. Even has the original Leather strip lanyard which I have never seen included on any other Olsen find. These were made from the 1950s to 1970s with, from what I have found, had the older ones stamped with the model number in the earliest versions, and were later penned into the box up to the 70's before the started factory producing these in Germany through the 1980's.Original COA and papers are included. its an Olsen Kodiak 504 (4-1/2" Blade) 9 1/4" in length and weighs about 8.1 oz. thick blade which I measure at 5/16" at the handle and 3/8" farther into the handle. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer. These are getting incredibly hard to find in this condition, with what is included. Thanks!
