Orange Dragon Paperweight This remarkably detailed form is wrapped around a frit backed clear magnifying base that brings the eye in to appreciate the composition and colors that bring this little creature to life. Created by the process known as flameworking, in which each piece is individually sculpted by the hands of glass artist Milon Townsend 3" tall x 3" x 2.5"...Signed Milon Townsend, 2008 This sculpture is a unique piece that Milon created in his studio - it is not available through any of his representing galleries. Milon Townsend has been making artwork in glass for over 35 years. Self-taught, he has created a vast body of work, from perfumes and paperweights to fine one-of-a-kind sculptures. His training in classical music was instrumental in his tendency to create objects with form, balance and harmony.
