Those of you who have seen my promo car auctions over the past few years know that I had a pretty extensive collection and that most were in super condition. I didn't collect several hundred of these to sell them but the downs of the up and down economic times caused me to do it. Now I'm down to the ones that really hurt. This particular one I took off the shelf 16 months ago and photographed it. Things were a little better and I couldn't bring myself to list it, so it's been setting on a table next to my desk and I've seen it almost every day and have left it there. I won't sell this Pontiac and will cancel the listing unless it gets bid up a long ways from the price where I'm listing it. This is an original 1964 Pontiac Bonneville convertible dealer promo model. It is a yummy silver-blue metallic color with a slate blue interior. I walked out of a Pontiac dealership with this in 1964 on Cloud 9 because I was truly in love with those Pontiacs. The Pontiac styling from 1963-67 was truly amazing. This particular 1964 Pontiac promo is a rechroming of the bumper and headlight assembly away from being very near mint. (Yes, the chrome front bumper and headlight assembly has lost some of its chrome.)
