This auction is for a stunning 5002-T American Flyer Circus Train Set. Purchased from a local estate sale this set is in excellent condition. The set was wrapped in paper and one piece of heavy cardboard and I believe this is the first time it has been taken out of its wrapping. The set looks unused. There is no rust, damage or repairs and everything is Original. The 353 Locomotive and Tender, which were wrapped in the heavy cardboard are in excellent condition with only a couple TINY slivers of missing red paint(only mentioned for accuracy). The 649 Passenger car is marked on each side: AMERICAN FLYER CIRCUS, Worlds Greatest Show!! The bottom reads: AMERICAN FLYER, MFD By A.C. Gilbert CO, New Haven Conn U.S.A. , PA-10454. The condition is excellent with a small portion of the red paint missing from the letters l and d in Worlds(only on one side of the train). This piece actually has what appears to be its original paper covering inside(see photos) and its original bulb(looks like this piece was not used). There are two(2) yellow carriers/flat cars marked: American Flyer Circus on each side. The bottom is embossed: PA-9952, AMERICAN FLYER, MFD By The A.C. GILBERT CO. New Haven Conn, U.S.A.
