This auction is for an original Lionel Postwar GP-7 Diesel power truck in nice condition. Strong magna-traction on drive wheels, will lift three O-27 tracks. Solid chassis, minor cosmetic corrosion on axles and drive wheel flanges and mag coupler button and plunger, s imulated brake housings nice and black; ta ck welds factory firm. Some t rack rubs ends of lower tranny housing, minor semi-circular scrapes top of plastic pilot, minor red paint residue on high points. Auction is complete and includes the metal top plate, the wheel and brake housings, the plastic pilot and stairs and operating magnetic coupler with the sturdy stainless steel plunger, the transmission housing, all nylon bushings, and all gears, including worm and pinion, wheels, and magnetized axles. The auction also includes the "horse collar" grounding strap (oroginal part 2367-52). The tranny has been cleaned, tested and is smooth. This is a nice solid unit and will be a very welcome addition to any layout or display engine. Fuzz in photos is "Q-tip" residue. It will fit any of the postwar GP-7 or GP-9 diesel road switchers and the 400 series Budd cars.
