This vintage set of Japanese Tansu handles is hand forged of iron and protected by a burnt lacquer finish. They measure 4 1/4" across. Made in the late Edo time period (c. 1850), it came off a 150 year old isho-dansu (clothing chest) that was demolitioned for parts. The style of this set is known as moko or mellon shape. They are in excellent condition with original forged iron strap for attaching to your next piece. You'll love it. We guarantee it or your money back! We always start with a low starting price with no reserve. It could be yours today!
