I listed this pair of magnificent lamps as Fenton because everyone I showed them to "gasped" and said Fenton. I dont find a lable or marking to back that identity so I must leave the ultimate judgement and decision to the knowledge of the buyer. The quality of the glass however needs no pedigree and is really to "gasp" about. The rich deep cranberry color is not painted on but is the actually the color of the glass. You can see this on the under rim of the shade. My gut feeling, based on limited experience with paints and craft, is that these pieces were hand blown. Have included many photos of the ruffled edges of the shades because the crisp quality of the numerous folds is so spectacular. I examined every inch of both shades and lamps and can not find a single chip, crack, ding or repair. The cranberry glass pieces and marble bases are in mint condition. The metal cone shaped pieces (connecting base to cranberry node) show some pre pitting and the metal shade receptacles show a slight loss of finish in a couple of areas. One lamp is missing the key like metal piece that simulates a wick control device. The wiring, which I strongly recommend you change, tells me 1950's or 60's. Measurements are all in inches: overall height = 15 3/4, base = 5 x 5 3/4. Shade measurements: height = 8 3/4, widest point = 7, base opening = 3 3/4, top read more
