A fine Taino terracotta brown-gray vessel of slightly oblong shape, two applied elements opposing lugs, one side with stylized bird figure at the rim, the other side with a narrow trumpet spout emerging from the upper wall; the symmetrical walls decorated with deep incised geometric designs; intact with some original sediment form the site, (it was used by the Behique or priest in the cohoba ritual for snuffing the hallucinogen ). Ca. 900 AD Measure: 5 inches diameter. (ARCHAEOLOGICAL ITEM)
