Pre-historic Quartzite PROJECTILE POINT, Chipman, Alberta (Achtimichuk) Lot 4687 Description Pre-historic Tan Quartzite PROJECTILE POINT, Chipman, Alberta (Achtimichuk) Lot 4687 Gorgeous shaped quartzite projectile point, surface find.Size: 33.89 mm long x 21.56 mm wide x 7.48 mm thick.These were found/collected by Mr. J. Achtimichuk of Chipman, Alberta, on his property sometime between July 15 and October 7, 1964. This was then collected by my dad after that from Mr. Achtimichuk. The site is in a field near Chipman, Alberta. My dad collected a number of artifacts from Mr. Achtimichuk and I'll be listing these in the coming days/weeks.My dad was a long-time (50 years) collector of native and fur trade items. He was a historian / archaeologist. All of these items are from his collection. Our items have been featured on the Canadian Antiques Roadshow and the prestigious auction house, Bonhams and Butterfields in San Francisco sold some of our native items. Our specialty is items of Plains, Plateau, Sub-Arctic and Arctic people as well as Fur Trade - specifically, HBC. ShippingShipping is done by USPS unless otherwise listed.
