I'm only selling this because I have two of them and I do need funds to pay the property taxes. I've already sold a dinner knife, tomato server and cake/pie server in the past month. This spoon is in perfect condition. This one was probably given to me sometime in the late 60's. My family started my silver before I was born, but the serving pieces didn't start coming until they thought I might get married. Some came as wedding presents and others came in the mid sixties when I finished grad school and had my first real job. I used all the pieces at countless fancy dinners under candlelight. And at Thanksgiving and Christmas. They were all well-cared for. The spoon measures 8 1/2 inches long and is a bit over 1 3/4 inches wide at the bowl. It has a forked type tip and slots/slits to let syrups or juices or whatever stay in the bowl. I used it alot for fruit salads.
