Quezal Kew Blas Steuben Era Gold Dore Iridescent Aurene Nouveau Art Glass Vase I just purchased this vintage Gold Iridescent art glass vase from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The vase is characteristic of the Art Nouveau inspired designs produced by several American factories working in the early 1900's. I suspect this cabinet vase was produced by Quezal Art Glass & Decorating Co., (c. 1915) but perhaps Kew Blas (Union Glass Co.). The vase has a striking gold dore iridescent finish with rich color and strong lustre. The interior has a pearl iridescent quality, a subtle contrast to the exterior. The cabinet size vase measures 4 �" high and 2 �" in diameter. The unsigned base has a circular ground / polished pontil mark. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage or noted surface wear. This lovely gold iridescent vase would make a nice addition to any collection of early 1900's American Art Glass.
