Just purchased from an important estate in connecticut two pieces of Japanese satsuma. This auction is for a rare signed Kinkozan vase. It is from Meiji Period approx 1890-1900 from what I could figure out on the internet about the signature. The vase is in excellent condition no chips or cracks and hardly any wear on the gold. The vase depicts beautiful flowers and birds the colors are vibrant. The vase was purchased by the former owners in Japan in the 1920's and loving displayed in the family's home since then. I am not an expert so please ask questions if needed and check the photos. It is approx 9.5 inches tall. The base is approx 2 1/8 inches in diameter. At the widest point it is approx 3 inches in diameter, at the top it is approx 1 1/8 inches in diameter. Buyer to pay 8.00 for shipping and handling in US Insurance is extra and required it depends on final sale price. Please check out my other piece of Satsuma it is of similar quality but I can't figure out the signature so you may get a real bargain
