HERE'S A 3-SET OF WORKING ROCK ISLAND DIESEL LOCOMOTIVES, HO. ALL 3 HAVE BEEN TESTED AND ARE WORKING.These 3 locomotives came from a now-deceased railroad enthusiast. These were lovingly used and cared for and are in very good condition, with hardly any scratches and no denting. They have a wonderful used patina to them which, in my humble opinion, only adds to their 'vintagey' charm. (Please refer to all photos as they are part of this description). No original boxes.Some additional information about these 3 items from a kind, fellow ebayer and train enthusiast: 'These were all made by Athearn. The similar looking U28B and U30C are of older manufacture as they have cast metal truck sides. The SD40-2 with long "portch" on the "long nose" end is of newer manufacture with plastic truck sides. All units have been upgraded with Kadee couplers, fitted and painted handrails, weathering, and illuminated road numbers. One had been upgraded with a plow. None of these are suitable for upgrading to DCC'. . SHIPPING NOTE I only ship USPS. The invoice will reflect a choice between Parcel Select and Priority Mail.
