RARE VINTAGE RORSTRAND SWEDEN MCM CANARIA Ovenware Nesting Bowl Dish Set of 3: Marianne WestmanThis sunny lemon yellow ceramic oven-proof dish set is Mid-Century, made by the iconic modern Swedish company Rorstrand.Designed by Marianne WestmanProduced only for a short time between 1957-60, the Canaria pieces are extremely hard to find.Classic Mid-Century stylized pattern of geometric, crossing lines with a hand-drawn look.There are 3 bowls in this set. They nest together.The large one measures 8 1/2" (21cm) wide x 3 1/2" (9cm) High.The second dish measures 6 1/2" (16cm) wide x 2 3/4" (7cm) HighThe third dish measures 5" (13cm) wide x 2" (5cm) HighDishes are in very good to excellent condition, no chips.The middle size dish has a bit of discoloration on the edge as shown in the last photo.The smallest bowl has some glaze pops with discoloration on the bottom as shown in photo 6.The color and pattern are fresh and bright on all the bowls.They are marked on the base Rörstrand Sweden Canaria Ovenware 15, 14, and 13.It is rare to find this nesting set of the Canaria pattern.
