RARE VINTAGE RORSTRAND SWEDEN MCM CANARIA Rectangular BAKING Oven Dish Set: Marianne WestmanThis sunny lemon yellow ceramic oven-proof baking dish set is Mid-Century, made by the iconic modern Swedish company Rorstrand.Designed by Marianne WestmanProduced only for a short time between 1957-60, the Canaria pieces are extremely hard to find.Classic Mid-Century stylized pattern of geometric, crossing lines with a hand-drawn look.There are two rectangular dishes in this set. They nest together.The large one measures 12 1/2" (32cm) long x 8" (20cm) wide x 2" (5cm) High.The second dish measures 10 1/2" (27cm) long x 6 3/4"(17cm) wide x 1 1/2" (4cm) HighDishes are in very good to excellent condition. The larger dish has a tiny nick/discolored spot. There are no other marks.The color and pattern are fresh and bright.One dish is marked on the base Rörstrand Sweden Canaria Ovenware, 9. The other is marked Rörstrand Sweden Canaria Ovenware, 8.
