This is the 9.5 inch Ruba Romic Jungle Green (I assume) vase was made by the Consolidated Lamp and Glass company between 1928 and 1933. The good news is that my finger and eyes cannot detect any chips, flea bites, flecks, flakes or any other fancy name for damage on the rim, edges or any other structural problems. The few usual tiny internal air imperfections in any molded glass. The not-so-good news is that someone left about 3 1/2 inches of water inside a little too long and it looks like it left a hard water stain. I'm sure t is some secret vinegar, baking soda, Drano formula that will probably get it all out. I watch Antiques Roadshow so I'm not even going to try. T are also the adhesive remains of a couple of those felt pads on the bottom that Goof-off will remove. To be honest with you, with light reflecting off the vase, you don't really see the discoloration, but when light passes through the vase, you can see some cloudiness. Whatever it is, the glass is not pitted or etched that I can feel by the water mark. It's just that cloudy, someone forgot the flowers gunk that needs to be removed. I know the 2003 price guide lists the vase at $1, 500 but we aren't in Fantasyland anymore. In any case, if I don't sell this vase, I can always put my ashes in it when the time comes.
