Up for auction is a miniature U.S. Cavalry 1:40 scale Western Covered Wagon plastic model kit by Doyusha of Japan. The kit was released in 1982 so it is now 30 years old. All model parts are present and still sealed in their parts bags. The directions are present; they are written in Japanese. The box has a nice sold look but the top is sunken in a bit and there is some wear on the corners (see photos). The photo makes the top of the box appear like there is a white, hair-line crack series on the top right . . . this is actually a lightning strike in the background. Note that the plastic parts come in colors . . . some are brown, some are black, some are white, some are green and some are pink. Thus, the kit could be built and displayed without painting it, should an unpainted assembly approach be your intent with the kit.
