On offer here is a brand new, made-to-measure, Royal Stewart kilt. This kilt is of the highest quality you will ever find and is at a reasonable cost! Do not confuse these kilts with cheaper substitutes being offered elsewhere which use less than 8 yards of cloth and a wool blend material. I can guarantee this will be the best kilt you are ever likely to own! (I have occasionally seen kilts of comparable quality and workmanship but I have never seen any which are better.)The kilts being offered here are hand-stitched by an ex-Army kiltmaker from a full 8 yards of 100% wool, 16 Oz heavyweight cloth, which is woven in the identical sett size and colours of the comparable MoD tartan as was used by the Regimental Pipers of The Scots Guards, The Black Watch, The Royal Scots & The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. These kilts are pleated to the stripe in the Regimental manner. (Should you want one of these kilts pleated to the sett, this can be done at no additional cost.)This auction is for kilts in waist sizes up to 38". (For larger sizes please enquire regarding cost.) The winning bidders have the choice of having this kilt with or without an apron fringe and, with or without rear belt loops .
