Description4 Sets of The Evergreen Tales Or Tales For The Ageless. Total of 12 books 3 in each set with slipcase. Published by Limited Editions Club, NY, 1948-1952. Charming Illustrations. Books measure 8 x 12 inches. Hard covers are clean showing very little wear. Bindings are solid. Pages are clean. No writing, notes, marks, underlining, highlighting or inscriptions. Very nice! Slipcases show some wear and soiling but still intact. See below for faults.Jack and The Beanstalk, Bluebeard, Hansel and Gretel. Bluebeard is No 610 of 2500 copies (handwritten). Other two are numbered 1584 (stamped). Orange, yellow and tan covers with design. Bluebeard is signed by General Editor Jean Hersgholt on edition page in rear. Hansel & Gretel is signed by General Editor Jean Hersholt. Small white spot on top of slipcase.King Midas and the Golden Touch, The Emperor's New Clothes, Pandora's Box. Emperor's No 1392 of 2500 copies (stamped). One is stamped Number 1584. King Midas numbered 1392. Dark green, black and tan hard covers with design. King Midas is signed by illustrator Fritz Eichenberg. Emperor's New Clothes signed by General Editor Jean Hersholt and illustrator Ervine Metzel.
