Rare Small Ltd. Ed. Royal Doulton Mad Hatter Made for the Higbee Co.The Royal Doulton Toby Character Jug may be small, but it is a great addition to your collection. This Mad Hatter is 3 and 3/4 inches tall and is #D6790 . It is beautifully hand molded and painted with great attention to color and detail. It was commissioned by the Higbee Co, a department store in Cleveland in 1987 to celebrate the opening of its "Royal Doulton Room" and had a very limited edition of 500. This one clearly states on the bottom that it is number 350 of that edition. It was purchased and then packed away so in perfect condition. Comes with a Royal Doulton box, but a different name on the side. Made in England at the famed Doulton potteries and is now, of course, discontinued.
